Hearing "mom" at 2 am is not a good sign. This morning was no exception. Poor Michael had an earache. He fell back to sleep with the help of some Tylenol Melts. His ear was still bothering him when we got up, so we got lucky and scored the 8:20 Doctor appointment. He wanted to go to my doc, since she never gives him shots. His Dr was available. No shots, just an ear infection. We waited for his medicine and then went off on our day.
Since he was not running a temp and was just stuffy I sent him off to school. A little after 10 I got a call from what I thought was his school at first. It turns out a water main sprang a leak. School would still be going on but no daycare after school would be available. A quick call to my folks got Michael being picked up.
Some days it doesn't pay to get out of bed...
