Quiet weekend

We had a quite weekend after cancelling our Thursday/Friday camping trip. We went to MOA to walk on Friday. Grandpa took Michael on the carousel there.

We went to a couple of garage sales on Saturday and I got the lawn mowed again on Sunday. It was kind of nice. We've been pretty busy lately with camping and my sister's visit.

It's my 6 day work week so I get some rest this way also. Next week will be busy. We are planning our trips to the fair.

Yes trips, plural. A couple years ago we started going 2 days instead of 1 and found it much more fun and relaxing that way. I'm looking forward to it. I figure this year Michael can try the big slide ride. I loved that one as a kid.

Last year he really was into the ticket booths (lights are the big draw). I'm hoping the animal barns will be a bigger hit than last year. It should be interesting to see his reactions this year. I'm expecting more demands for lemonade (a favorite drink) and food than last year.
